2012 Recap

Here we are doing our planning for 2012. Lots of good ideas in progress!

Here we are volunteering at a local nursing home with our dog, “Duke”!

Here we are preparing for our local Crafts Fair where we hope to raise a ton of money for our local animal shelters. We made our famous “Dog Gone Good” dog biscuits and our famous “Pup Cakes” doggie cup cakes. We made Belgian chocolate lollypops and tie dye t-shirts. We also decorated perfume bottles and hope to have huge sales.

Here we are at our local Crafts Fair where we raised $300 for our local animal shelters!!! We are going to see if we can purchase dog beds for the animals at our local shelter.

We Christmas Caroled in our neighborhood and raised more than $355 to buy pet beds for our local animal shelter. We also collected newspaper, dog food, towels and kitty litter.

And last, but not least, here are photos of jack, anna and chris at the shelterbox awards ceremony, where they received president obama’s gold level volunteer service award for their work with animals and the 2012 “read-for-shelter” read-a-thon they organized which raised more than $2,800 for ShelterBox.
