Kids for ShelterWe are a charity lead by kids to help animals and people
2014 Recap
Here we are purchasing supplies at PetCo (thanks for the discount!) from the $625 we raised from the Crafts Fair and Christmas caroling!
Here we are visiting with the Spotsylvania Animal Shelter where we dropped off our supplies! Our friend, Ashley, came with us this year too!!!
Here we are preparing for our local Crafts Fair where we hope to raise a ton of money for our local animal shelters. We made our famous “Dog Gone Good” dog biscuits, our famous “Pup Cakes” doggie cup cakes, and lots of baked goods. We also sold notecards with some of Anna’s art on them!
Here we are at our local Crafts Fair where we raised $485 for our local animal shelters!!!
We Christmas Caroled in our neighborhood and raised more than $140 to buy supplies for our local animal shelter. We also collected newspaper and dog food!
This year, Jack, Anna and Chris, and their friends Ashley and Jamie, volunteered at a local shelter to serve a pancake dinner! It was a fabulous and rewarding experience for all!!!
Finally, 2014 was the 3rd annual Read-For-Shelter read-a-thon that Anna, Jack and Chris organized and lead. We raised more than $2,700 for ShelterBox! Xander, Michael and John also participated this year. Here is a great shot of Xander!
